Scope of Work:

Complete interior renovation

 

Project Description:

Redesign the existing administration building complex (Site Services Building) for Bayer CropScience in Kansas City. This complex consists of approximately 125,000 square feet of administrative offices, laboratories, training, and support spaces found within six different but connected structures. Spanning over the course of multiple years, the site services building has been remodeled in phases while maintaining occupancy throughout the remodeling efforts. The overall project included exterior masonry restoration, the replacement of 240 windows, 25,000 square feet of roof replacement including the implementation of an 8,500 square foot photo voltaic solar power array, renovation of 60,000 square feet of administrative office space, the demolition of 20,000 square feet of office building space that was originally constructed in the 40’s and 50’s, and the relocation of the Data Center (without shutdown) which supports the entire Kansas City site as well as two remote locations.
